id disagree with that the fastest cobalt is only high 11s compared to almost every other ss platform out there, but i do like them they are nice for what they are imo

Tbss and cobalt ss have to restore the nameplate that the Malibu and v6 Monte Carlo destroyed for years before them.

I just got back from the GM Performance meet in Ashland Va. There were 3 SSTCs and one HHRSS there and they were getting alot of attention. Two said they had a stage one upgrade along with the 'standard upgrades". I believe one guy stated he dyno 296/310 running 23-26 psi. My question that really didn't get answered was how far can you go on a stock turbo and stock engine. As gas prices continue to climb I think more and more people will be looking at this type of set up.

The Silverado SS was a big let down, that's for sure.

A debate turns into an argument when valid points are replaced with meaningless banter. Seriously, how can someone rip on a cobalt ss/tc when you also drive a modified regal. That's a compliment not a jab, but it is also hypocritical IMO.

they've gone 11.1 so far, but i do agree that stock it was they should have gone all out on it. like a s/c'd lq9 or just gave the lq9 atleast 450hp since it weighs so much and make it do atleast high 13s stock

Having a faster car is the basis for winning arguments that have nothing to do with how fast your car is

On a side note, what's your best time with that car?

Stock for stock it wasn't faster than the fastest regular Silverado. That equals fail.

I never ripped on the Cobalt, I simply call out bullshit

Verified proof that how fast someones car is does not correlate with how intelligent they are.

Regular cab, 2wd, and the same LS2 that came in the TBSS would have made for a badass Silverado SS
