It only has the most ridiculously short gearing ever. Seriously it takes about a tenth of a second to run from 20-30mph where it's in it's "Power".

I raped the s2k from 50 but it took me till over 80 to pass him from 20.

a higher roll would just make it worse. with a lighter lower hp car, the lower roll the better cause the weight will play a much bigger role the lower the speeds are. as the speeds rise, its becomes all about power and the honda is down 100+whp. good killl op.

Yeah I thought from the video it sounded like it had an intake. VTEC doesn't sound like that with a stock one...not that intake only is far enough off from stock to make a difference. Nice kill.

Did he say what he used? AEM? And who tuned it? Just curious

He told me that when he bought the car he was told that it was tuned, but he does not know for sure.

I just ran a modded S2000 from about a 25 a couple days ago....still not too quick. Boost or spray is their friend.

Does he see the AEM unit installed in the car?

Just being honest. Even with the hit, me being in a bad spot in the bottom of a gear, me with passenger him without, it still got ugly fast. It was definitely quicker than I expected, just not quick enough. I think it would be a good race for a stock or lightly modded LT1.

Ron's big red elephant should give you the hit + a passenger with him, and from a good spot for you and that'll make it a better run.

edit: nvm, Ron's G8 should be named Clifford:

It's gonna be bad either way. When I ran the s2k he got a full carlength of momentum on me because of my 1st gear spin and instashift into 2nd gear. I pulled even with him by 80 and had about 5 cars on him by 110 running away badly.

When I get another one, it's getting intake, full exhaust, a good tune, and 4.44s or 4.57s... with a few choice suspension mods, that would be a FUN car

Yep, def a honda lol. My bros made like 116 FWHP and 98 FWTRQ haha. Amazing that your engine makes about 75 more HP but only 30 more torque. Then again, hondas were never known for thier torque...and yours is also going through a RWD configuration.

The best bet is probably to just wait until we all meet up and then check both cars out. Should make for some fun runs.

Beats my naming process: "That's the blue car (G8). That's the red one (Camry). That's the gray one (Montana). That's the red, gray, blue, gold and... um, poop colored car (TA). Damned cat."

Funny thing is the S2000 probably revs almost as high as the bike does

Kidding, but they do have a ridiculous redline!
