Default Serious thread all SRK members

Guys, this is not really the place, I agree but I just feel like sharing, We go about our days worrying about horsepower and racing but many people are delaing with storms in thier lives.

This is my personal thread asking for your Prayers for a little girl that I don't even know but I know that I have my own 10 month old girl and I would ask the same and I would do the same for any of you guys.

*Gentlemen, please do not post anything contrary to the topic, please. Those of you who spend your mornings and evenings in Prayer about your lives and your loved ones, please add this little girl to it, that's it.

Here is the situtaion that my wife brough to my attention last night.

"Baby Lianna Tripp is just 6 1/2 months old and was just diagnosed with Stage 3 Neuroblastoma. She was brought to the ER over the weekend with a bad cough and upon doing x-rays and ct scans, they found a large mass on her lungs that turned out to be cancer. She had her biopsy yesterday (March 7th, 2011) and they found out that it has also effected some of her lymphnodes, as well as a couple of her ribs. She also got her port put in yesterday. She will need several surgeries and will be starting her chemo therapy tomorrow (March 9th, 2011). I am asking that everyone joins this event and prays for baby Lianna Tripp, as well as her parents, Lindsey and Clayton Tripp and their entire family as they go thru these hard times. We absolutely believe in the power of Prayer and ask that you all forward this on to as many people as possible.
Thank you everyone for taking the time to read this and for your thoughts, prayers and support. I know that the Tripp family really, truly appreciates it."

From here on out, if any of you have an issue in your life where you need support such as this, you are welcomed to post it, this would serve a far better purpose while we're bs'in anyway.

Thank you gentlemen, for you support and I'm sure the Tripp family needs it and welcomes it.

Jason

No child or parent should ever have to go through that. Damn that is just sad. I hope she pulls through and lives a long and prosperous life.

My 9 year old cousin is currently fighting cancer (i believe its the same type). It was also found in a large mass in his lungs and in his nodes. It has been an awful experience thus far.

I hope everything goes well for her and she makes a speedy recovery.

Reading that will bring glassy eyes to the toughest of men. I know I did when I read it. I pray for her.

It sure will, especially if you have kids and realize how lucky you are that they are healthy. If I was to ever have a wish it would be that kids don't have to suffer these diseases and have their lives cut short. What really gets me is it seems to only happen to good parents who care about their kids, then you see the idiots on TV abusing and killing their kids. I'll stop now before I get really pissed off.

Definitely sucks, and it really is hard sometimes to keep things in perspective until something goes wrong in your own life.

Man, thats a tough one. Thoughts and prayers to the family...I can't imagine going through something like that, especially since I have a 3 month old at home now...makes things like that hit ya a lot harder.

Made the shop read it. I truly hope for the best. I pray for the parents and I hope they are stronger than I am.
