Scared the kids
We've had some good driving weather over the weekend here in MD. So, I take the baby out to stretch her legs and shake the "snow driving" off. I pull off to give her a drink, and the riciest duo came in behind me. Dodge SRT-4, and a Honda Element, of all things, with a fart can. These goof ball college kids ask me, literally, if "I feel like racing some real cars!" I just smiled and agreed. Topped off the tank, and the three of us pull out to the light. These two idiots were on either side of me, revving to high heaven. Sure my car is stock. All LS1's lope like that. I just sat there waiting for the other direction to turn yellow. Once it did, I hit the switch for the QTECs, thanks for the custom side pipes, Roy, and gave them a 5000 RPM blast. They didn't want to race after that. I think they are still waiting for their eyebrows to come back down.

GM Performance Grand-Am Cup package. Doesn't do much for gas mileage though. That, and a 4" Lunati crankshaft. And bored to 4.120". I love my car!

NICE!!! I have been thinking about getting cut outs for my car, once it becomes half quick this summer... Not the same sound on a four banger though... Awesome story. Any times on your car?

Yes... time to wash it, time to fix it, time to get it in shape...
Not yet. I'm still adding, swapping, and tuning. Once I'm satisfied, then I'll go to the track.

Get the cutouts for the sound. Open headers are nice, but its that deep throaty roar that gets attention. A good exhaust shop can make some side pipes for you, like the classic Stingrays.
I'm getting the car ready for the Silver State Classic this May. I'll be on ESPN! Not bad for a chubby, middle-aged guy.

The funniest part was the honduh element with a fart pipe. I wonder if the guy recycled his sandals and saved the rainforest after the encounter too.
I wouldn't be scared, I would just throw up the horns
