Im not scared of my car, but with about 450ish to the tire, NO WAY would I try that, I have had a few people try to get me to run in semi wet conditions. ONCE, I hit it just to spin baddly and that was enough to have to pull my jeans out of my butt crack, I wont even think of it any longer as im sure you wont either, glad it didnt go wrong, man.

 

The OP could have braked also, dont you think? It was a stupid situation for both. A quick "race" in a clear of traffic, DRY highway is cool, but in a wet, full of traffic one?? Im sorry I would call both, the SRT8 and OP, asshats.

it amazes me that more people have commented about the jeep being an ******* and not the fact that both of you morons almost caused a who knows how serious, accident on a busy freeway? any one of our (and yours dumbass) family members could be the person in the car he almost rear ended or when you lose control from him cutting you off. Ever witness someone flying out of a car/suv on the hwy? i have and it was from a move just like the one he pulled on you, the person flying through the air came out of the position you were in after they swerved to avoid the ******* in the explorer. She died but lived long enough for me to see her lying in the grass and half her face brushed back over her scalp. You should've seen he was flying up that other cars *** and let off, but no, you were gonna WIN! win what? use your head next time man.

It sucks when you actually start making real power. The road has to be pretty nice and straight and traffic has to be at least a quarter mile or more for safe braking.

 

I only race on roads out of town with no cars in site. I remember almost a year ago I was racing a awd evo and it was bad lol. He took of and I sat there spinning tell about 50 and than let off and stomped it and started spinning lol. I don't race hardly ever anymore, but when I do I am carefull

 

Aside from the dip **** driving tactics in the video, what was done to your car and the jeep OP? I ran a exhaust only srt8 with my exhaust only m6 and still pulled a car on at 145mph w/2 passengers.

 

I imagine if you had got traction he would have side-swiped you like a tard. Then you would have posted a thread about how someone hit you and messed your car up. :/ He cut that really close just to show you up. What an ego.....

 

I stay away from pickup truck drivers and SUV drivers. They're all insane.

 

Good practice. You'll be lucky to run into him again. Driving like that the SRT will unfortunately be totaled sooner rather than later. Maybe he learned a lesson from that race like the OP did. Stay away from traffic.

 

In my opinion the jeep owner did the right move. He beat you fair and square and he didn't hit you, did he? And the fact that he inched over first to get you to let him in just proves he's not trying to intentionally cut you off, but he couldn't stop in time. You didn't let him in so of course he had to cut you off! He clearly knows the limits of his Jeep also. Not trying to be an ******* man but smarten up! It's not worth risking someone else's life just to make your ego bigger.

 

I don't mean to offend people here that have pickups or suvs that drive them safely but god damn if everyday I don't see some idiot in a white contractor pickup or some jacked up hillbilly truck doing just down right dangerous aggressive driving. I think that has a lot to do with living in Virginia and there being a lot of trucks on the road but those things handle like **** and are slow (yes 99% of them are slow) but they think they're invincible.

I just stay away. I let them pass, I slow down, I pull off at the next exit if close to home... not worth it.

On occasion I rape the **** out of them just to prove a point then slow back down to semi-legal levels. They're insane I tells ya.
