I wasnt in either car on these runs, but Damien with the SRT4 said he let off at the top of 4th. Top of 4th for him is about 7,8000rpm which is right around 160mph.

The expression "top of fourth" can be vague. It could have been used to describe letting off down to even 7000rpms.

I dont even seem to get to 140 as quick as both of those guys got to "160"..... And I shouldnt be too far behind that srt4 due to our power levels and weight...

But whatever what do i know?

I lost to an srt4 in my old 97 camaro convertable (heavy LT1). I don't know if it had anything done to it I was stock. It was from a roll where he had an advantage. Only went up to about 100. There pretty quick. Not one of my prouder moments.

What size tires?

According to a gear ratio calculator 6800 rpm lands 4th at around 145ish with stock tire size.

He is going to 7800 not 6800. Zyborg, as I said I wasnt in the car so IDK exactly what speed he let off at, even if it was 7k rpm that is about 150mph. It sounds like he is doing close to a full 4th gear pull, so it should be close to 160, again IDK im not in the car to verify that...

Zyborg, I think both those cars are actually quite a bit faster than yours. Your car is insane for what it has done but while I think your car might be able to get around 120 mph in the 1/4 mile I think those cars could get around 130 mph in the 1/4. So yea they may be doing 160 when your at 145 or so..

EVERYONE listen closely in the vid where im in the left lane, you can hear when i go from 3rd to 4th 20 seconds into the vid, and he lets off. i go to 4th at around 125 and he even cuts the vid.

You are right, both of those cars are faster than me and they should be based on the power to weight BUT i could bet money that they were not going 160 when the video gets cut off. In the time from when the race starts and the video gets cut off my car would probably be going 130 tops making them be around 135ish give or take when the videos end.

Im willing to bet a punch in the face that those guys cannot get out more than 3 cars tops from a 40-140 on me.... They might be trapping 5mph higher than me tops...
