No race went down. The Camaro spun a rod bearing on the dyno. (we think) So now he is making plans to go with a big stupid built motor. 408+ CI.

I am excited and sad for him all at the same time.

How did I miss this? Anyway let me say it like this, A stock GN with Bolt ons will smoke them!

I blew the motor in the 5.0 too. So it will be a little while before it is back on the street. But I am game with the new set up when it is complete in a month or so.

LOL @ Stock GN with bolt ons.
Tell me it wasn't #8 piston issue?

I also seen you had tranny issue. I did as well. Replaced and no issue yet.

That sucks. You have any misfire codes or anything before let lose? And is ford covering it?

Yeah. I had random missfire code on and off for about a month. Then one day it just stayed on.

Ford is covering it. But they did tell me that if ford engineer shows up to look at the car I might be paying for the motor out of pocket. Good thing he never did! I love my home town dealership hahaha! These service rep was like what the hell is the point of buying a car like this if you cant drive the **** out of it.

With the code on I still ran a 12.2@110 I think I could have clicked off an 11 second pass that run if it was running right hahaha.

yeah it has been gone a little over a month now. I have been driving a dodge avenger rental. I hope to see it done in a couple weeks. Ford said the motors are on back order.

Tell 'em to call Summit Racing or someone else... They're all over the internet! Good luck getting it done soon.
