I think my vette will win.....anyone been there and done that ?

 

are they both stock? If so, the 'vette should win.

 

vette should def win if you are both stock, watch out for him if he has a new chip, smaller blower pulley and a few other bolt ons. L's can be quick. but if you have some mods as well, you should be good to go man!

 

It should be a close race. I watched a L run 12.4x's with a pulley and a chip. Hope he hasn't modded.

 

Stock to stock = you kick its ***

modded to modded = you kick its ***

Not you should win. You will win.

I have a friend with a pulley, chip, exhaust and drag radials. He's got a best of 12.30's out of it.

I doubt that anyone owns a stock Lightning though. Good luck.

 

Modded to Modded, I'd give it to the L owner.

 

depends on what they call mods on each car!

 

If its stock you will win for sure. I beat a stock Lightning in my 2002 Z28 M6 Stock with stock tires. I beat him pretty bad. If it is modded I dont think you should worry either.

 

If they're both very mildly modded, I could see the 'vette having a lid, catback, maybe headers.. and the L have a maybe a catback, pulley, and chip. That's why I'd give it to the L.

I saw a L last night at the track. He had pulley, headers and DRs....he didn't mention a chip but I'm sure he had that because of the pulley. He ran a 12.68 @ 108. You throw a set of DR's on my ride and I'd probably be right there with him (see sig).

Vette vs. L........I agree with what everyone said...it all depends on who spent the money where it really counts!!!
