98 T/A vs 335i *vid*
Well, it seems like i get these races on the same spot and on the same freeway every night... Last time i raced a late model porsche carrera s.
This time:
Im coming from my boxing practice home.
Im in 1998 T/A: A4, shitty 2.73 gears, Cutout on stock exhaust, Volant CAI
It just turned 147K miles
vs
stock 6 speed 335i BMW. he did jump on me during the race!
I Pulled a nose on him before he decided to shut down, here is a vid
Race was 75 mph-100 plus

Race was short but was enough to tell that i BARELY won

believe tune only those things run around 12.7@110. nothing like having a TT setup stock to play with! good kill. i ran one in my 370z last year. and it was super close with me about 1 car ahead at 120ish.

what can i say, those beemers are impressive and it does not take a lot of work to run like a full bolt on ls1. The outcome of the race makes sense especially for the ridiculous 2.73 gears... i dont understand why gm decided to put them in a muscle car. I may swap for 3.42's in the future

335i's are about 300hp. Mid 13 second cars stock, comparable to stock LS1 performance. His 6 speed is the only reason he stayed with you any. Pretty even race with your mods, good kill with an auto from roll.

^much like ls1 fbodies they are a little underrated from factory to keep them more distant from the m3's power number. It's still fun to run a 4 door sedan against a 2 door pony car. Brings a special smile to ones face to get the W.

I was reading a while ago they dyno about 280 rwhp so they are underrated from the factory. Ive seen people with just a tune and intake get up to 360 rwhp easy. There are some getting 410-420 even on stock turbo's but read somewhere its not recommended to boost that high, ofcourse with other supporting mods as well.
