You live in florida and I know there are a few GT-Rs over there. You should find a stock 2012 GT-R to run. I think it would be a good race.

Yo dog you's be crazy J/K. I think he could maybe run even or edge out a stock 480 HP GTR. Those are in the 118-121 mph range. But the 2012's are in the 122-125 mph range. They are no joke.

2012 GTR vs C6Z06 (GTR does 11.2 at 122 mph stock and 0-60 in 2.9 seconds)

Nice vid.

I guess somehow someway you got very lucky. The way your car performs I honestly belieave that you have a solid 420 rwhp car SAE on any dyno jet.

Maybe the car started life as one of those stockers at 360 rwhp? maybe you have an amazeing tuner.

Reguardless your cars rolls out pretty good. Looked like on the second race were we could see a 100% equal start you were only 2.5 cars back at around 140 mph.

I have ran a 2010 GT-R IIRC, I beat him by a car or so from a 40-140 roll with him taking the hit. Its on video.

The newer GT-Rs are a little faster so Im sure it would be a good race but with me on the loosing end....

The guy that ownes the yellow c6 is a great sport and awsome guy to be around. He basically knew that he was going to loose but still went out there and gave it his best. We race for the sake of comparison and some fun.

I agree that I got very lucky with this car when I picked it. I wasnt even looking or supposed to buy anything but it just called my name as I was going by on the side of the HW.

Maybe.. The tune it has right now its good but not perfect. I will work that out when I get a chance.

Yes, that is correct. But believe it or not, the first race started in just about the same conditions. We both left on the 3rd honk like in the second race.

The owner of that c6z is a buddy of mine and we had raced a while back a total of 4 times with the following outcomes. 1 race = i lost by 1 car, 2 race= I lost by 0.5 car, third race= i lost by 1 car and fourth race= I lost by 1.5 cars.

The second's race outcome was really odd to us but I still posted it because it was a fair run. Win or loose, I just like to post vids.

It certainly left me scraching my head and a little bummed out that the car seemed to perform worst than on the previous run and all the other runs from before...

And your car weighs coming up on 1,000lbs less.

Good vid though, second race with the C6Z is where I think it should be. Seeing a C5Z next to a C6Z, even a "lowly" C6 makes any C5 look somewhat dated. God I need money.

I forgot you can be sensitive when people don't 100% agree with what you have to say. Your response just came off very ricerish to me.

I'm guessing he did not have a passenger then (and obviously you did)...I guess that could get it down to around 500.

Negative, its not a matter of being sesitive or disagreement. Its a matter of wrong facts being tossed around.

The cobra also had a passenger... And is still 500lbs heavier not a 1000lbs like you implied.

That which you implied is ricerish.

Re-read it, I said coming up on 1000, not 1000 outright. Care to tell me what I meant by that, since you seem to think you know what I was implying? His car weighs a good ~700lbs heavier than yours out of the factory, so unless some weight is out of his car or the passenger weights are very off, 500 seems a tad low.

Whatever though, I wasn't trying to start an argument, just pointing out that it was a stupid comment. If you got walked by a Civic making less power, you'd be saying "he weighs 500lbs less."

Point being, we all know the Cobras need a nice chunk of extra hp just to take out an f-body, so that need a whole lot more to get a C5, that much more for especially a C5Z...so there was no reason to point it out.

Whatever, say what you want. I'll stop mucking up your thread now. As I said earlier, nice vid.

Lol, i dont need to re-read it. A 1000 or "coming up" to a 1000 is nowhere near close reality which is around 500.

You are correct, his car from the factory is close to 700 lbs heavier but not after he took some weight off. Its my brothers car. Lol.

The comment was not aimed towards you and i think you took it out of context mistakenly. There is currently some animosity between my brother and I about our cars so thats why i responded like that. Lol...

True, it usually takes a mustang 50-70 rwhp more to be even with a vette.

Whatever, say what you want. I'll stop mucking up your thread now. As I said earlier, nice vid.
Its all good man no hurt feelings.
