questionnnnnnnn Alright...Theres a kid in my town with a 2000 Ls Integra...lastt summer i ran him in the chevelle and beat him by several bus lenghts...he was runnin 8PSI and 14.1@99 mph at the track...he's now running 25psi(or so he told me) he was putting down 200whp with 7psi...my ? is would the camaro stand a chance? its bone stock except the LS1 Motorsports lid and the Loudmouth Exhaust...i know with traction the chevelle would put a whoopin on him...but that in stock form made 450hp at the flywheel which now has been compltely rebuilt with more comp MUCH bigger cam etc... this kid has NO respect for Domestics...i just dont wanna run him in the camaro get beat and never hear the end of it...what do you guys think?
25psi? I'm not forced induction guru, but I think he'd need quite a bit of money into that engine to withstand that. I have a friend with a 97 2.2 Prelude that runs 11 psi and is only running 12.90's with SLICKS. He did dyno 280hp/294tq at the wheels. Basically, he's bluffing. Smack him.

if he really is running 25 psi, be prepared for an ***-whipping if he has slicks. If he doesn't have slicks, don't even worry about it, because he'll be cutting 2.8 60's the whole time.
By the way, there's no way he's running 25 psi on a Teg motor.

if he has the supporting fuel system with race gas and some kind of tuning tool apexi for one but he may have hondata which is impossible to detect and a inline pro headgasket he could most definetly run 25psi
before i got into ls1's i had a 98 teg with a crv block sleeved the whole 9 yards with a hybrid t4 and at 16psi i was at 362hp but i could of pushed alil more with the hondata i could of easily ran 25 psi just becareful, because just like southFl said the teg is super hard to control with that amount of power but at the same time if hes running street tires you'll have no problem racing from a dig just dont go in to cocky

alrighty thanks guys.....I know the chevelle with take him no problem when i run ET streets on it...but i dont drive it half as much as the camaro..i'll just see what happens...get beat in the camaro o well go home get the chevelle and humiliate him with an "out of date" as he says piece of Iron

I"m gonna run him...just in which car i dont know...i was gonna try taking him from a slow 20-30 roll but then thought of the turbo and scratched that idea...i think i'll just have Dez Racing put in a 125shot..and get some nittos and use his turbo to whipe my *** haha
