Default 427 CETA pulls a 09 mustang gt

This mustang gt pulled out in front of me coming out of a gas station and gooses it. So I chased him to the interstate. He goosed it coming off ramp between two cars. Evidently, he didn't wanna line up against me. So he thought he could outgun me on topend. Well it was light traffic and he was using the traffic to keep distance from me. I kept up following him. We were going fast. But once there was no traffic, straight line, and nowhere for him to hide, I reeled him in hard and blew past him. So not only I covered ground, I got ahead 2 to 3 cars and was still pulling. I looked at my speedo and it was buried and still pulling. It didn't even bog. I let up off the gas. I think he let off when he realized he couldn't cover ground like me. A mile later, he got off the next exit.

Saw the "427 CETA" and knew it was your beast! Gratz on the kill man, your car has gotta run HARD.

Also, saw you buried your speedo. Speedo in the V8 F-Bodies go to what, 160? That is movin son!

That was my 1st time running it like that. I usually run from a 60 roll pulling from there putting 2 to 3 carlengths on anyone I'm racing on the streets. Then I shutdown at 120 maybe 130ish. It's pointless to keep going faster especially me still pulling. Honestly, I shouldn't went that damn fast. But, I wanted to see how hard this motor can run. I was surprised I was able to close in on the GT and dust him. I bet he was surprised too. He couldn't get away from me.

when ppl ask how fast mine goes, i point to the speedo and say "see that last number?....well, there is a peg there that won't let the needle go any further"

Funny you say that. People ALWAYS ask me "what's on the speedo" or "how fast your car go". I tell them 160. Also, I tell them it doesn't matter how fast the car goes, only how quick it gets there. Hell, a Mercury Cougar got 140 on the speedo but it aint gonna get there just as fast as a LS1 camaro, mustang gt or any next gen small block v8 out there.

No ****!! 427 LS3 with the biggest heads out there, HUGE cam, and the best flowing FAST intake there is. No telling how much power it would make, seriously.

It makes pretty decent power. I got the L92/LS3 heads that's cnc'd ported and polished from SDPC. They built this motor.
