My bad Z06 has intake/tune...Exhaust is stock


When you figure you can pick up a 2006 Z06 for 35-40K and the intake and tune will set you back $1000 and you can hang with a 350K f458..

Well thats the reason we all love the c6Z06 so much on this site.

Agreed! The z06 performed well as it was meant to. But I'd still rather roll in a Ferrari than a C6Z (which is already a car I hope to own someday lol)

I love Zs but that race is bogus..... they had the Z on 2nd and the ferrari on 3rd....wtf? Im sure the ferrari was at 2.5-3.5K rpms compared to the Zs 4-4.5K rpms..... Ferraris have a much higher redline and need rpms to shine...

Im sure the gear ratios are very different. I'll bet the ferrari was turning a lot more rpm than you think.

damn good video! Z06 held its own, liked to seen it run the porsche. That gtr ran damn good, tho it should for the mods. Heard they pick up alot with just a tune.

I thought about the gearing as well..Then I thought a little more.



Stock Z06 is a 125 mph car vrs the F458 being a 129 mph car.

I belieave that a Z06 with just an intake and dyno tuneing can go from 440 rwhp to 480 rwhp with agressive tuneing

Meaning...Well....Just that easily it can "Hang" with the F458

I think they added the gearing comments because someone was pissed that a 70K vette with intake/tune ran to damn close to their 400K Ferrari
