83? Foxbody vs Turbo Civic
Coming back from the track today my buddy and I decided to do some pulls.
His setup as far as I know:
83 Foxbody
26" ET streets
Rebuilt Junkyard 351, 8.5:1 comp.
Trickflow Heads
Trickflow Stage 2 Cam
BBK Long tubes
Holley 600
4.10 Gears
Ran really good at the track. The timing system was down when we go there so they were just doing arm drops (Failboat) but from videos its a low 12 high 11 second car.
First Run on 20psi (50-125) then I turned it down to 15 to make it a race (40-130). He got excited when he stayed even at 15 .
MY Car makes 430 @ 20psi, 370 @ 15psi

LoL, that's funny because on another website that I'm on; quite a few guys are building them now. One guy has taken the aero front end off his coupe and put a 4 eyed front end on it.
83-84's are probably the least desirable Fox Body's to me.

Almost looks like that Mustang could be faster merely with some decent body work!! Yikes... I don't dislike the 83 so much, but I do dislike bad form on the body...
Your car hauls though... especially for having the wrong wheel drive. Imagine the ETs with traction.

I really don't mind 4 eyes...but I prefer the later 85-86 cars. They started looking decent and with some nice 17" wheels and a good body they can be cool, but I am way more partial to the aero front end style! And yes, 83-84 are ussually hideous to me haha.

I think you heard correctly. Looks like an '83 and has 87-93 front end and decklid(or at least an aftermarket wing), plus tail lights. Looking at the interior bits we can see, it's a "4-eye" dash and driver seat. Maybe that was the Recaro optional seat, which was an expensive option on that car. The mesh in the headrest may be 83 specific, but idonno... I don't remember it used after 84, but maybe.
