Well i went up to this crusing point about 45-60 min away. We are all sittin there crusing and this 03 pulls up and is like "You wanna run?" i tell him to follow me and we all pull into this Harris Teeter parking lot. I am with a bunch of F-bodies (some from the board). We set it up and he is like i don't care what we run from b/c i am stock and you will beat me...no money or anything...just for fun. I was like OKAY. So we decide on a 35 roll b/c i can't go from a dig b/c my 9" isn't in yet. We all pull out (8 F-bodies+Cobra). Then about 30 ricers followed us out there. We went out and we got next to each other and i started to slow down. I was at 55 and he wouldn't go anylower and he just hit it and took off. I was in 3 so i hit second and started to catch up to him slowly. Then we turned around on an exit and got back on the highway going the other way. We lined up at 35 and i couldn't hear his horn b/c my exhaust so he jumped me by a car and i hit it. I got even with him by the middle of second. Then we stayed even through second and through 3rd. At the top of 3rd i had a fender and then i hit fourth and had a car. I was a really close race. Good though. I really enjoyed it. First in a LONG time. When we went back to the spot and got out and talked. He seemed kinda shady. I kinda pulled his friend over and ask him what was done and he said he was spraying. It was stock except for spray. But a good race. He tried to get me in his trap but i still beat him. Sorry for the long post.

 

Good job beating a cobra, expecially one that was spraying!

 

thats what he gets for talkin ****, good kill, now that you hurt his feelings so bad he's going to be spending some major $$ oh his furd to beat you, u should keep a spare bottle instead of a tire just incase next time the hustler is a little quicker

I was one of the people there. Those damn ricers where like gnats all flying around. Everywhere we went they followed. They kept trying to get us to go to another town to race some other guys. We asked them what the fastest car there was. They said a stock Mach 1 was there last week. Last night was the first time I have gotten out on a Friday or a Saturday in probably 10 or 12 years. I had forgotten just how stupid people can be. The dumbass rices kept spinning and raising hell in the parking lot. It's like they want to get in trouble. Anyway that was a good race between the spraying Cobra and the VERY loud 97 SS. I can't wait until he sprays the LT4! Then we'll see how close the Cobra hangs.

 

He could already be in the very high 10's. He is definately in the mid to low 11's. The 97 SS is pretty damn fast.

 

The LT4 is that quick huh? Cool. I've never seen one personally let alone a built LT4. FWIW, no way the guy in the Cobra could ever hit a 10 being stock except for spray...mid to high 11's would be easy though. I bet he thought he was going to walk all over the SS. Instead he got his *** spanked.

ahhh bronco, but it is on video, but its not on the mem card, so we can only see it on the tv, we did some fly bys that are on the mem card though

Well it is on a digital video casette(sp?). I just can't figure out how to get it on the computer. It will play the video but no sound. I will keep trying though. he was a hustler b/c he was trying to get me to race saying that he had a stock car. he said that no one in town would race him. So he tried to get me to race him by telling me b/c he thought that he would surly win.

 

He kept saying nothing was done to his car it was stock with a smirk.

I think it is a S Video or a DV Firewire cable. ( Not 100% sure though )
