This actually started in the 70s and 80s with the beginnings of banking deregulation. As deregulation continues the bubbles get bigger, the debt grows and the depressions will grow increasingly worse.
Allowing banks to write 400K "variable rate" mortgages based on capital they only have a tiny fraction of, to people without a hope of paying it back...then reselling the bad mortgages as AAA rated investment securities and insuring those securities because the defaults were inevitable...and they get bonuses instead of jail time...

What is wrong with this country has nothing to do with left vs right. The political BS is a front to keep Americans feeling like we have a say in what happens. The truth is those that are at the top with there hands in everything are who's responsible here. Not any presidential administration.
A revolt is coming one day maybe not in our lifetime but its coming.
We are now suffering the same persecution this country was sworn to fight against and its only a matter of time before that same rebellious nature comes out again.
