Yea, more like HORRIBLE driver. Sorry. There's no way with your mods that you would stand a chance against that car with someone who knew how to drive it halfway decent. Run him again, get a vid, and make someone else drive his car. Don't mean to be an ***, but I'm just keeping it real.

GT500's are heavy cars..2010 are right under 4k. Either way stock it will run mid 12s cause of major traction issues. Set of tires and they can easy go lower 11s. Its been done several times.
As far as this kill...Hmm..Video or it didn't happen. The guy either don't have a GT500, it isn't a 2010, or he is the worse driver in history of GT500's..

I believe it, I spanked one that was modded at the track. we ran 3 different times, and then the guy came over and said he would run 10's if he had his slicks. Try keeping a straight face when when you just spanked him in a turd 12 sec car. I actually thought he may have been mentally handicapped.

Provided this is true, what sort of dumbass parent gets their 17-year-old kid a 540hp RWD Mustang?
In my highschool, we came close enough to killing ourselves with 115hp Civics and 140hp Eclipses...

Okay I have driven my fathers 10 GT500 many times and I can honestly say it had to of been a really bad driver. With mods you listed there is just no way. Gt500's top end is crazy is 3rd and 4th gear. My car in sig is not slow and his car was hanging pretty well with mine when we raced.
nice race either way!!

2010 and 2011 GT500 have went 11.1-11.3@126 with just tire change. The stock tires kill it cause the have to baby it. That why see such low traps when running stock tires. A hard shift and it can break lose at 50mph

In regards to everyone else, his car weighs over 4000lbs with him in it. Mine was 3200lbs with me in it. maybe less. At 30mph he started in 2nd, i started in 1st. He wasnt in his power range so i got a chance to sneak away well he had to play catch up. I have a picture of both our cars parked next to eachother if that proves anything lol.

Weather he "should" have won or not, he did. Don't pull up next to every GT 500, 2010 and above and think you will drag him though. I drove my by buddies with the only mod being drag radials to a 11.6 @ 118. From a roll i pull a bit with the vette, but not much. Its a street race guys.
You did beat the driver, but what the hell, most races are won or lost that way. When I bracket race, we dont factor in the driver, just the final timeslip.

And he was probably better starting in second cause in 1st he would have blew the tires off of it.

Oh also on your sig a few bone stock 5.0's have went 12.3 and 12.2 on stock crappy 235 Pirellis...Granted besides the 3 or so that have did it that is it..haha..Post below is one guy who did it..who had a few guys from here there that seen it. They are GM guys. And yes i know not every 5.0 will not do so good. There was a manual that went 12.2 with a DA of like 200.
