Oh also on your sig a few bone stock 5.0's have went 12.3 and 12.2 on stock crappy 235 Pirellis...Granted besides the 3 or so that have did it that is it..haha..Post below is one guy who did it..who had a few guys from here there that seen it. They are GM guys. And yes i know not every 5.0 will not do so good. There was a manual that went 12.2 with a DA of like 200.

Ya, cocky I know.....I need to change it. I have been 12.06@117.42 in 150da State capitol...so nananeebooboo. Just messin'

Nail it from an idle and the torque management is not as intrusive. Small amount of spin to raise the rpm and it goes. No mods till 11.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes sir. Big blue power core same as the diesels. I have seen 3 run in the 11.98 to 12.10. Range. All at about the same trap. The car has the power for 11.70 passes but the torque management is horrid. With a tune, though, its not stock. I try to be as honest as I can on here. When the piranah smell blood, it over. Lol

WHAT?!?!? Bracket racing is ALL ABOUT THE DRIVER!! It's why bracket racing was invented so that faster guys could race slower guys and pit driver against driver instead of fastest car wins. I should make that my sig....

I used the yard can't be raced, driven, and it can't take you to dinner or shopping. Her reply was neither will your car cause I can't drive it. She can't drive a manual.

My point about the bracket racing was that whomever gets the win light wins. We don't complain about seat time or missed gears. I have never argued with another racer about who should have won. A win is a win. Bracket racing is never fair to the faster car. It just evens up the field, not even close to street racing. I see where you can mis understand what I said, but I was trying to convey the fact that we all know who should have won but that's not what happened

No way that car picks up 10-12 MPH with just a tire change. Thats Z06 MPH traps.

It always weighs a ton more. Thats very misleading to say a 09-10 GT500 will trap 124 MPH with just tires as a mod.

09 had less power then the 10. It did it so why hate. The car just sucks with stock tires.

So you saying a 540hp car should trap what my 412hp did? The new 5.0s are trapping between 110-114 stock.

Wow this is exactly what happen when I was in highschool to a T!! A kid got a brand new steeda edition GT500 when he was 16, he was a freshman. I had a 00 A4 ws6 that went 12.6@112 with full bolt ons and a tune. I beat him every single time we raced from a dig, roll it didn't matter I'll post the video when I find it.

Here it is
http://www.streetfire.net/video/ws6-vs-gt500_176261.htm

Uploaded April 2008, I was a senior and he was a freshman. I remember when his dad bought it for him. Parked it outside with a huge sign saying happy birthday and a big *** bow on top of it lol!! After he got it he was then hated by 98% of the entire school.

He also had a brand new H2 before he got the GT500

Top gear dynoed the gt500 and it made an embarrising 440rwhp. And they weigh just under 4000 lbs. I call BS on the "stock" gt500 above running 11.1@124. No ******* way. I see them run at the track here and none are anywhere close to that even with tires.

Can't believe evrey dyno either. One one dyno my G8 made 379 N/A on another it made 348..The 2011 GT500 weighs in at 3800lbs. It makes 540hp stock. Its not going to lose 100hp threw a manual. You are really blind if you think a '11 GT500 with tires can't run lower 11's. The 09 and older no cause of less power and more weight.

Case in point in this one it made 486whp/469wtq..

another 488/463
