RWHP dosen't tell the tale like quarter mile ET. My buddy's Shelby GT500 with a Whipple and I don't know what else makes 720 SAE rwhp and he gets to look at my tail lights, with only 570 SAE rwhp.

I would imagine from a 40 roll to around 120 you put around two on him? That makes perfect sense.
Granted he is able to hook.

He's pretty fast, you two would be a good race.

He didn't like having my NA Vette beat him, so he got an even smaller pulley, he makes about 760 SAE rwhp with it. He switches back and forth, never know what he's running.

You better race him pretty soon, IMO he's gonna blow that thing sky high, it's a stock bottom end.

They are heavy. But i ask cause i guy on S197 posted videos of his 700whp+ Gt500 roast thing the tires when hitting it at 80mph. With that much power about anything is hard to get it to hook. Less running a centri blower. Then it isn't instant boost.

Thats because he's making 700rwhp in a 4000+lbs brick and probably not getting any traction. Also about him blowing sky high, I doubt it at his power, those 5.4L modulars are very strong. There are GT500's that have done 8's on the stock bottom end.

As for the topic at hand, even with the air I still don't see a H/C/I Z06 taking down a stock liter bike.

To be kind...it is heavy. But it is hooking, he's running Nitto 305/45-18 NT05Rs.

Yes I said 45

They with a forged bottom end from the factory. Not saying you can't build them to be stronger but they can handle some serious power from the factory..

Just cause he is running them don't mean he is not still spinning.

I hated my NT05R's on my G8. For me they hooked for ****. With 489whp I was able to rip spin them pretty easy.

I think what they were getting at, is that if you're smoking him with that much of a power disparity, something else is going on.

If you think your power to weight is that exaggerated especially with an N/A at high altitude then there is something wrong.

No one here is taking anything away from you but some of the claims you are making are completely adding up. A H/C/I C6 Z06 is in fact a very stout car and very hard to beat but claiming that you are beating a GT500 that makes about 150 more hp than you and a stock liter bike sounds a little far fetched.

I'm not hating, I'm just observing.

Do the math for yourself. Figure 800 to 1000 pound difference between the GT and the Z. See how much horsepower is needed to get the same power to weight.

I just did the math and even so the GT500 still has better hp/lb you are looking at 5.2 (@ 3800lbs) lb/hp to 5.4 lb/hp (@ 3100lbs) for the Z06 regardless it should be a really close race with good drivers.

Z plus driver is 3400 pounds.
GT (convertible with frame strengtheners ) plus driver is 4400 pounds.

Means he needs 738 SAE RWHP to have same power to weight.
