Both badass rides and nice runs and kills op! Always nice to see the old rivalry at its best. How much weight taken out of the Mustang? I almost thought it was going to come back around you.

If you call that running good for a 410cid Mustang...That thing needs MINIMUM 225s and my choice would be a set of Victor heads. No reason that car can't be a 130+mph car. Also the intake choice sucks unless its a box tfs.

See, thats what i thought all along. All the local mustang "experts" told him to run the 205 AFR heads, i thought a 400+ CID motor needed a bigger head. It does in fact have a TFS Box-R intake though. Like i said, it was a 125 trap car with bad rings. This year that problem is fixed, he has a half point higher compression and weighs about 100 less lbs. I think it should trap 126-127 with everything being optimal.

That's really not a lot for a GM motor though. Actually, it's really just LS motors. My friend is doing a mild build on his 305 turd gen and .525" is BIG lift for him. Over .600" isn't that common on LT1s either. However, a lot of LS motors go over .600" since the heads can keep on flowing, even on mild cams.
Just an example of a mild cam that leans toward the aggressive side:
Texas Speed Tsunami- 235/240, .648"/.609", 111 LSA
...I say mild because it doesn't even have 8* of overlap.
