Rematch: Mach vs Cobra *crappy video* This first one happened a couple weeks ago....
So I finally got a run with a cobra. The owner is a coworker and I finally got around to talking to him yesterday, I told him my mods and what I was making, he said he's pullied, bolt ons and a tune, said he put down almost 470whp/485wtq. So we did 3 runs from 60 since we were on the highway. First run he signals me to get the hit, I was confused but he insisted, bad idea! He fell back to 4 cars and couldnt make up ground, now he's taking me serious. Second, we take off and I very slowly start pulling to a 1 car lead by 120. Third run was 1.5 cars by 120. Today he walks up to me and calls me a damn liar and that I'm making more power than I led him to believe, I foresaw that coming so I brought my dyno sheet and handed it to him, he was speechless. He said he hasnt gone to the track lately but was trapping 112mph back when he had a larger pulley and was making just above 400whp. I was gonna record it but the camera man couldn't wait for us to leave work and had to go home, sucks I know.
Then this 2 days ago...
So the pullied cobra I raced and beat a couple times a couple weeks ago wanted a rematch. Some of the guys at work were giving him a hard time because I beat him, though he kept claiming I only pulled a "couple inches" on him when it was really a little over a car. So yesterday he hauls *** after work and catches up to me and asks to run on the highway. I figured I needed to record this no matter how difficult it would be to end all discussion. So I grabbed the I-phone with the hand holding the steering wheel (awkward trying to keep the camera pointed in the right direction and driving at the same time). This time we stayed in it til redline in 4th, around 145mph, starting from 60. I started about a 1/4 of a car behind(messing with the camera) and put about 1/2 car on him by the time we shut down. Didnt bother putting titles or shortening the vid a bit since it isnt even youtube material. Enjoy...
