Traveling down the highway with my wife after picking up some tools from harbor frieght, and I noticed a white car scooting around other cars behind me. We were in a 55 mph zone (4 lane) with quite a few other cars so I let him around. He was staring me down as he went by and stopped passing cars after he got around.
I let him get down the road a bit until we hit the 70 mph zone then I speed up to catch up to him, I got probably 8 car length behind him and I could smell that smell of hot cats, so I knew he was getting on it. I dropped into fourth and by about 100 I was around him and scooted past another car that left us open highway.
He got around the other car, at this time I was back to about 75. He was coming fast in the lane beside me, I let him get to about my rear bumper and I dropped back into 4th and dropped the hammer. He got up to my front fender, then started sliding back. I was topped out in 4th (somewhere around 125 mph) and he was about 2 car lengths back. i dont know if he was electronically limited or just gave up but he really started dropping back, so I let off. The he floated back behind about 4 cars and never tried racing me the rest of the time on the highway.
I'm guessing this was the v8 version of the car, but I dont know what badging to look for. either way, owned.

yes. from what i read on motor trend its a 14 flat car? Last time I ran at the track I ran 13.60's i believe. that is with me leaving at no more than 2000 rpm cause I was 500 miles from home.

Genesis sedan V8 is high 13s/low 14s @ 100-103mph from what I've seen, mostly because of the extremely conservative torque management and transmission tuning.
