You're not serious are you? I assumed you were joking, then you basically said you were serious in the post above me.
I'd love to take my heads/cam/stall gto and make you regret that statement like I had done SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many times to LS1 Fbody guys. To date, there has only been 1 fbody that has beat me, mod for mod *(actually they are usually more modded then me) out of at least 2 dozen various fbodies friends or friends of friends that I've raced, both at the track and lined up on the street. And easily dozens more that I've raced in random encounters on the road.
LS1 fbodies and LS2 GTO's are a drivers race, stock to bolton to heads/cam. It's only if the fbody strips down or goes beyond heads/cam/stall that they start getting faster then the IRS equipped, heavier GTO.
Where are you from?

And just for the record I have destroyed a few h/c gto's as well. As a matter of fact the only gto I ever lost to was a '06 h/c 6 speed with a maggie on it. That car was impressive. I'm in Michigan

Just to clarify, what do you consider heavily modded? I'm thinking that you mean a car with similar mods to the OP is heavily modded, while most others do not, and that is what is causing the issue.

I'm not saying the gto had a built stroker in it, But for him to pull like he did it was'nt a stock gto.

I'm not an expert on gto's, and never claimed to be. I have seen them run low 13's stock. And I have seen some h/c gto's run high 12's. I know there are some fast gto's out there. They have a good power plant stock but are hampered by the weight and the irs.

gto's are not track cars,but from a roll they can be monsters..

More like 370ish at least thats what I've seen most of the time the ls2 isnt a dyno ueen and the irs saps power. As stated above its a drivers race mod for mod. The gto is heavier and has an irs so that levels the playing field. Maybe the gto was a better driver or had to shift less due to the gear in it, or there is also the possibility that it was more modded either way good death op mod for mod you should be about even but **** happens.
