Default Got killed by a GTO...

I was driving home from my friend's house, and noticed a car keeping pace with me as I got on the highway. I punched it, ran to the end of 4th gear, then let off to see if the other car would follow. It came screaming past me a few seconds later - a black GTO, loud as hell (true duals, or a cutout maybe?) I caught up, downshifting to 3rd as I did, and the driver gave me a thumbs up. I signaled to go on 3 honks, and we took off. The GTO got a nose on me by the end of 3rd, and slowly pulled to a half car length by the end of 4th. I let off there since the highway we were was going to merge into a single lane.

That GTO was a really nice car, sounded nasty too. Driver was cool too. Don't know if it was anybody on here, but if it was, good run.

Could very well have been a GTO with the same mods as you, minus the gears, from the sounds of the run.

Respectable loss man and very clean Formula!

I'm pretty sure the GTO had the stock 3.46 gears they came with. I shifted to 4th, and he was still in 3rd for a couple of seconds after that.

Yes, it was an LS2.

I had a passenger also. The GTO might have had one too, but I couldn't tell.

God you are retarded. I guess the f-body was "heavily modded" as well.

Sounds like a very close race that could have gone either way. You never know what mods the other guy has. Good race.

Good race! It's always a blast running across random cars, where you have no idea what the outcome will be before hand.
