Any 60's for either of u at the track? or 0-60 times?
have not been to the track yet, but want to. this is the first time I've truly run the truck from a dead stop. have messed around from a roll with a couple of vehicles and did really well (stock c5 and stock m3 and stayed even with them)

oh gotcha ya it takes some time to find that sweet spot from a dig even if u are launching in 4wd, been there done that. is the reason u only leave on 10-12psi just cuz the drive train isnt strong enough to take anymore or wat?

most track guys seem to leave around 15psi, but that's with the torsion bars cranked completely down (100% flat) so the CVs are at their strongest. mine are cranked a little so I was trying to be careful with hard launches. maybe next time I'll drop them down and let'r rip

the rest of the drivetrain should handle it no prob, but it is my DD and tow rig the second run was at 8psi and that was the highest I tried.

Mike, launched in 4hi (4lo would be ugly with the combination of lower gearing and tons of torque ) Allison is a Suncoast stage IV so it'll handle whatever I throw at it

I know now that I can try leaving around 10-12 psi and that should make for a fairly strong launch. it's all a learning process since I've never run the truck like this before. we'll see what I can come up with in the next month or so

please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I remember seeing out of the corner of my eye
No, that sounds about right. I think the second run I was really worried I was going to jump so I was a hair behind your launch. I know I was creeping a little. There is a fine line between not brake torquing enough for a good launch and bogging.

I want to see that thing. I'd love to run it with the t/a once it's all broken in and tuned.

The best I had at the track was 4.5 0-60, but that was on a tune and intake only setup. I was also learning so I may be a little better now.

I think it's just learning the sweet spot to get it off the line. I think some of his drivetrain was beef up a bit iirc.

4.5 is pretty good for something that will do that every time on the street, most the time id think itd be hard to beat that off a light for a rwd/fwd. ya im sure once he gets his launch down he will be a better run then he already is

My evo vs your T/A should be a hell of a run. What #'s are hoping to get out of it. PM the info.
