ugh! 42 over here....
I'll put in my $01 for perspective.
My GF has the G37 Coupe Journey 7A. The notorious NVH is unseen because of the automatic. The gearing is quite aggressive and it always seems to be in it's powerband while driving around which is really nice.
In fact, a soft roll launch quickly followed by going WOT makes it very quick off the line. It's a wonderful car to drive.
A 370Z offers less and the brakes are still suspect for track use. But it is a fun to drive 2 seater.
IF a car that light traps 107mph, a low 13 is absolutely certain with a decent launch. That's "if" though.

I'm fairly close to Cary High, if you know where that is as well. I rarely drive out your way, so it's not a surprise I haven't seen your car around.

Guess i will add my .02's...
I had a 04 350z..
All runs were at Alabama International Dragway. Best times were in april and may.
stock time was 13.8@102.
modded( plenum, y pipe, test pipes and filter) 13.3@102
s/c(9psi) 12.1@113.55 on dr's ad 12.2@115 on street tires.
Stock for stock a 03-06 350z will not beat a fbody with a decent driver.
stock for stock a 07-08 350z will be a driver's race
stock for stock 370z.. same as above.
I have seen some auto's go faster than the 6spd cars.
As far as handling(what they were really meant for), it's in a totally different class stock for stock.

Just my .02 cents. I have a GT 2v that runs mid to high 13's. Maybe low 13's if I am lucky(going down hill with the wind pushing me and a Ls car blowing my doors off so I am lighter with a -1,000,000 DA). I have not found a bolt-on 350z that can beat me from a dig(my car is a freak from a dig) or a low roll. My car is NOT FAST AT ALL. So that just tells you how bad the 350z really is it can't even beat a lighty moded 2v with 260 bhp!!!!

Yea but I have ran a lot of 350z's(15 to 20). There the one car besides honda's that I can really beat....LOL(Ls car's pull a way after about 80 to 90 with good drives)You would think out of all of them, one of them could drive.
