He's not the fastest anymore. A local guy has been 9.8x at 142-144 ish with heads,cam full bolt ons. That was at one these Kentucky tracks, no below sea level ****.
His record might have gotten broken, I can't remember.

Anybody launch on an mcleod rst clutch on a regular basis with success? I bought mine so I could do exactly that and now I see people have burned them up by launching them... Hoping it's just because people don't know how to drive and burn them up slipping way to much.

 

says right on there site they are not made for that, just the occasional launch...
i went to the track a few times with mine as well as launching it on the road, after about 10k miles it would start to smell funny after screwing around, wasn't a noticeable slip but something wasn't working right ...
