I'm 6'7". Are you pretty athletic, Mac? If so there's a couple leg exercises that you can do to really help your vertical and they're simple as ****. That's if you care...if you don't care about dunking then disregard

Calf raises. Either do your body weight off of a ledge of some sort or get on a machine that you can add weight, whatever you need. Find a good weight you can BARELY do 35 times. Do 4 sets to the point your calves burn and you're struggling on the last set. Make sure to stretch first.
Leg curls help, too. Same thing, around 35 reps per set. There are a few others for someone who really wants to go after their vertical and attack every avenue.
These two really helped me get on my way. In college I was 6'7 230 with 37 inch vertical. Tore my ACL junior year, I'm 235-240 now and I am still doing 35-36 regularly.
This has all worked getting my big *** off the ground, for someone smaller it should work as well.

Feeling short at 5'10" .
In other news, picking up an LT1 with a supposed bad head gasket. Guys said the car overheated. How likely is that the head is warped or cracked? How much do stock LT1 heads go for? I am just looking to get this thing rolling for a DD or a quick flip.

That reverse cooling **** is junk in every aspect other than getting to run a little bit higher compression...... I doubt it's warped or cracked I'd throw a new head gasket on it and let it ride honestly ...

Pull them off and check. They should be fine.
LT1 heads go for dirt cheap... check the local ads and whatnot in your area but I just do not see them demanding anything all that great

Do everyone a favor and sell your car to buy a Prius.
You could not possibly follow through with building a turbo car if you just asked that.
Not to mention that and your lack of common sense for NOT using a tranny cooler in a stalled 4l60e

Lol about the 241's on an lt1 and how the **** are you "athletic" and can't dunk being 6'2???? I was 5'9&1/2 my freshman year in high school I could dunk.... Had a guy in my class that was 6'8 and could not dunk lmao. I will never understand that. Helps to have a 35" vertical I guess
