Money racing tonight. Taking my neighbors Cuda, my buddies c5z and my friends wife's talon out to race some cars from out of town. The talon has been 6.4x in the 1/8th on some pep boy special street tires and a stock frame turbo.

Damn, guy offered to trade a 1988 5.0 for my TA and at first I was thinking wtf hell no I dont want that POS, then he sent a picture and its clean as HELL. Black vert, lowered with chrome rims and flashy riced out interior. Paint looks brand new...not a Stang guy but its a damn good looking car, much better then the ugly *** 90's ones.
Still not interested, but its probably the nicest 5.0 I've ever seen.

What did those old foxes run stock in the quarter anyway? I had a guy talking **** about he was going to beat me in a ****** stock 89 5.0. It was slow as ****, and wouldn't have been the first time a roach had approached me with that. I'm assuming it would have been something like 16 seconds?

The EFI Foxes ran anywhere from low 14s to mid 15s, depending on trim/options. I don't think even a loaded GT automatic convertible would have run mid 16s with anyone competent behind the wheel.
