Just wondering why you'd think I'd be scared of a Heads/Cam LS1.
Stock they've been in the 11's @ 119 traps. Not sure what a stock turbo GN will do but I don't think it will do that??!
JT55 from MHP went 11.46@122 with just airboxes, Longtubes/X-pipe & tune at 3900#.
C63's (virtually the same car, same powertrain, weight etc.) have been deep in the 10's with bolt-ons at around 3800#.

Here she is, dirty since it hasn't been washed & poured yesterday anyway, so no biggie. Needs a good cleaning, 5 lug swap, some wheels, removal of that black side stripe, and then I'll really be happy
Don't mind my passenger side dash plate, lmao, that's being made now.
Bonus points for who can tell me what gives it away that the car is an 86 and not 87+.
I like the stripe too.As was already stated by MAC...some nice wheels would really set the car off.

So as many of yall know i ask more than my fair share of stupid questions lol. Well here is another... what is exactly different in the ls3 block and the engine blocks they use for the LS9/A? Are they the same blocks?

Is that an original 5.0 car? LX 5.0 in 86 especially a coupe if pretty rare

Thanks a lot MachXLR8!!! The paint looks good from 10 feet away or more, when closer you can see a couple blemishes. As far as the stripe, you're not the first to say you like it! I've toyed with the idea of 2 racing stripes down the center but I'm not sold on it yet.
For wheels, I'd probably go SVE Series 1 or FR500s that are black with a chrome lip.
Mike, yep original 5.0 LX car from 86. This is also why I wanna get it back to four eye, to keep it era-correct. That and I love how 4 eyed stangs look.
