Mine is one of those upright naked sport bikes.......I'm not into the squid bikes either. But I do like decent power and handling.

I like the way the FZ6/1 look, but they were a little tall/heavy for me when I got my SV. I'm about 80lbs heavier now though, so I'm sure it would be a lot better

BTW .....stock vortec heads flow239 @ .500. Idk know if that was some kind of jab but you still come up short to a 60 yr old engine.

I looked at sv's but they were under powered. I would've loved to have had a fz1 after the redo. But mpg's on liter bikes suck.

The SV650 was good for a first bike though. I was planning on upgrading to either an SV1000 or a GSX-R750 after a year, but didn't quite get that far lol

That's a prototype, I'd rather them go ahead and get the kinks out now.

Now tell me......why would you use .600 for the 3v head flow when the biggest set of cams I can find only goes to .480???? and those require phaser limiters. It's ******* retarded to use .600. The biggest lift springs I can find for a 3v is .550. I betting if you could get to .600 it would take a major redo of the head.

So now tell me flow #'s at .480.

I said the same about people who try to use .600 for the coyote ****.....It can't get there.

Just a note. Use Windows Movie Maker. Its free, and easy to use. Just insert one video behind the first one, and wala. 2 vids in one. Plus music adding is easy... can change the volume at different parts of the vid etc etc. easy program to use. I did the volume messing stuff on my vid racing the ECS Supercharged LS2 Vette.

So at .480 call it 220. So you're telling me that **** is no better than old school sbc stuff.......actually not as good. The flow # I posted was for stock heads. Those cnc head #'s seem a bit inflated. My bet is it took a valve changes to get there to.

Why know exhaust side?

Shame kawi stopped making the Mean Streak bikes...they looked real tough too. If you dont mind a used bike, they may be something you'd like.

While its not a full cruiser, the new gen Concourse Sport Touring bikes are basically good at everything, and will smoke pretty much any other cruiser around except for maybe a V-Max in a straight line. Review sites love this bike - its only real competition is the WAY more expensive K1600 GT BMW(It is around $10,000 more). Detuned Gen1 ZX14 motor. Maybe they will give it the nasty Gen2 motor next year???

Owning another bike isn't worth the risk to me. Although I loved to ride, most drivers on the road just don't pay enough attention. I sold my last one in 2004. I have kept my motorcycle endorsement on my license but I doubt I will own another one.

When I went for my motorcycle test at the local DMV there were two ladies working in there. They were ~50 years old I guess. I passed my written exam and was waiting to do the driving test. One looked at the other and asked if she was going to go with me to do the driving test. She answered that she saw me ride up on it and that was good enough for her. I passed, lol. I had a Yamaha YZF600R at the time.
