If that thing actually has a 5.4, I am really interested to see what will happen. If it's a 3v, I am not worried what so ever. Nice torque on your set up though man, unless you wrote it as tq/hp lol. Jealous, for a DD that would have been nice. You still had the ls6 intake?

Yeah my bad it was 424 HP/389 TQ. Stock LS6 intake and ported TB, LT's with no cats, and magnaflow Catback.

I can't wait to get the cam in my car, it's a lot lighter than my WS6 was

Damn straight. What cam you going with? The vette gearing, weight, all that **** makes them some bad *** cars. If I wasn't getting married soon, and who knows how long out till we have a kid, I would love a c5z, or a ls2/3 c6, but looking at nice driving, economic DD's n **** now...like the focus ST next year

I miss the WS6, had to sell it and my G8 in the middle of getting divorced last year. It was a damn fun car

I've got a comp custom grind for the Z06 just need some time off work to put it in, get it tuned, ETC. Ill have to look at the cam card and post up the specs later. It's medium sized, nothing too crazy

Would be fun for sure. You said that the heads already ported slightly and milled?

No, the ones on my WS6 were worked a little. The ones on my Z06 are stock. But this thing runs hard for just full bolt ons as it is. I ran a turbo 240SX the other day, guy claims he was right around 400RWHP and we were dead nuts even from 40-120 with me pulling ever so slightly in 4th, got him by maybe half a fender. My broader powerband I think is what got me past him because I dont know much about those things aren't they light as hell? I dont even know what year it was it was an older one. He said he could be pushing more boost if not for his transmission probably breaking. I was surprised as hell when I didnt blow his doors off the car lol

Maybe 2900 lbs on the high side depending on how much the turbo, intercooler and piping all weigh. I want to say a regular KA24 240SX weighs around 2600-2700 lbs, could be slightly more though. But those cars don't breath up top, nor have the gearing quite like a z does. Sounds pretty quick regardless, considering your car should be trapping 115 or so.

My car dynoed 368HP/370TQ on a dynojet yeah bolt on 01's usually will trap 115-117 depending on the air. We got a baby cam compared to the 02-04's

Edit, I know dyno #'s dont mean **** either... Hopefully I'll have some track times and #'s if Gainesville raceway doesnt get rained out tomorrow night

Run that ****, I wanna know what they can do in this kind of DA. I don't think I have seen a bolt on c5z run in person out here, everyone I know with a z has a cam as well lol.

Weee, 1 5 hour energy, and monster down during my "lunch" (2 hours ish?). Can't wait, only 4.5 more hours to go at work.

I got an hour left... then a day off finally. I don't do **** at work though, can't complain too much.

The only one I've seen run was a bone stock 2004 and the guy was running 13's blowing the tires off all night. Damn those cars are that light? I'd figure he'd have pulled me. Guess power's not everything

They don't have the kind of power curve we do, nor the gearing unless money is spent in the rear diff. I love the cars, but a ls is seriously the way to go in that car IMO.

We just got put on 4-12's, but these 3 day weekends every week is damn nice lol.

Weddings are expensive. I need the OT too, I'd pick up a second job right now if I could. Right now I am driving the vette every day, racking up the miles I need to fix the clutch in my Ford **** Probe
