That is my thought process as well, but we'll see.

Not sure if the ported LS3 intake manifold gains are worth it either.

Nope, likely just going to do a custom cam route.

Don't just go after a peak HP number. Make sure it holds that peak past 7k. Utilize your RPM

What kind of turbo car are you building?

On another note, any recommendations from you guys for LS3 heads? Already have an LS3 intake manifold ordered.

Still crushed being going ported LS3 heads or just using stock as-cast LS3 heads since they already flow so well.
A turbo kmember would be nice but honestly the only front suspension I have done is the Viking coilovers and that is it. I have all the normal adjustable rear suspension plus the MWC drag bar, cage and MWC rear Viking coilovers. As for the ls3 stuff it does work well but you can get away with a lot of the older stuff like ls6 intake and 243 or 317 heads. Keep your costs down on the things with lower returns. If you already got the ls3 top end then might as well use it.

Nah, decided to go spray this time.

Turbo LS cars are a dime a dozen around here and I hate the amount of downtime a lot of friends seem to have with theirs, so just going this route for now.

LS3 intake is already ordered and I have wanted to do an LS3 top ended LQ4/LQ9 for a long time. Should make OK power NA.

Want to do LQ9 - TSP 1-7/8" LTs and ORY, Magnaflow catback w/ dual tips - stock LS3 intake, ported LS3 heads, custom cam.

Not sure exactly what nitrous kit yet, but it will be a nice one and will likely run a 150 shot through the stock bottom end.

4l80e will be stock for now. Going to use a Circle D single disk (not sure yet which stall range I want to do). Shift kit, donkey dick big tranny cooler, Jake's full manual box.

Holley HP EFI ECU with lcd screen.

9" with 3.50 gear (I prefer street/highway driving too much)

Not sure yet on wheels but will probably throw some drag radials on the stock WS6 wheels to run around as street wheels.

Yes, I could go faster with the car if I changed my intended setup - but it is my money and my car so guess I will have to learn the hard way.

Have your ridden in both a nitrous and turbo car? Turbo is 1 billionX cooler IMO. Plus n20 is so hard on stuff. Not saying turbo isn't hard on ****, but from my experience and watching friends with n20 you go through motors quick unless forged. I blew mine up within 5k miles and both my buddies blew up on n20 pretty quick. You can make HUGE power with turbo more reliably and way more fun. Most of this is just what I have seen personally!

I've actually never ridden in a turbo car...a boosted car but not turbo. I like the fact that you have the power all the time rather than whenever the bottle is on.

I have an ERL 402 and billet GT88 Camaro sitting in my garage, so yes, I have.

Engine is getting forged soon enough.

Exactly how I feel. I had n20 and got sick of filling bottles. Not to mention with turbo you get to hear the best sound in the world lol. And turbo pull feels much more badass
