I just played around with A Mercedes something, a porsche something and an Audi RS8 V8 model. I was on the way to town to have lunch with my girl and they were riding in a file of 3 cars on the interstate. The Mercedes was ******* GONE as soon as he hit it, the Audi was behind him and couldn't catch me, I think I may have been pulling slightly on him but I did get the hit because I took off when the mercedes did. I know it was the V8 model because he passed me after I let off and it had "V8" in red letters on the back of it. I have no idea what kind of mercedes it was. It was a white 2 door car, couldn't see any decals on it. It sounded so goddamn mean though; the exhaust was popping as he slowed down in front of me, he took off again when the Audi and the porsche caught up to him. The porsche stayed back, I dont know if he was racing or not.
I think it was this, the SLS AMG. I dont know mercedes that well. The back was the same, and the front had the LED row headlights and the big Mercedes emblem. Sounded so ******* awesome.

Funny you say that; the best 2 years of my life were being stationed over there and being able to drive as fast as you want to with no repurcussions.
I almost never see cars like that around where I live. To see 3 in one day I should probably go play the lotto

I know, I just looked it up and it is a stock 125 MPH trapping car (If that's what it was I am pretty sure it was though, looks the same) Some NO2 would have definitely helped out. Although my luck I never have my bottle open when I am just cruising

Im not too big a fan of it either. I really need to get my cam in; as soon as the Z28 is done (Doing plugs, wires, fuel filter, coolant flush, diff flush, trans flush etc) I am gonna put the vette in the garage and start tearing it down

Yeah it can definitely be safe, but I just don't like having to think about bottles and what not. I like na power all the time.

Hey wood, what does that Z run in the quarter? My buddy has a similar setup on his '01 and we wanted to take them to a track. Just wondering what I might be up against.

DA was around 1500 if I remember right. So far I have beat a 400 RWHP S14 and a bunch of other cars with it, only things I have lost to are a 2V with a turbo kit, both mercedes I mentioned, and a C6Z06 although barely because the guy couldn't drive well.
It's quick, definitely runs hard for what it is. Dynoed 370/368 (I have to look at the sheet maybe the other way around but you get the idea) I know I could be in the low 11's with slicks and skinnies.
