That means they have been doing something right because everyone is butthurt. Ford has been behind for years, with the new 5.0 they finally have something to brag about. It will be interesting to see the new 2015 Camaro, if GM doesn't **** it up.

If I had the money for a new car I'd drive a new 5.0...I HATE the new camaros, they are fugly. I'd still prefer a c5 frc to autox and track

I'm picking up a Hooker Catback and ORY tomorrow for the Z28... got my Lid in the mail today.
I swore I was going to leave this thing alone... I should have bought a 4 banger so I wasn't tempted to spend $$ on it. A guy with a built LT1 (355, cammed full bolt ons) wants to straight up trade me, I might do it if I think I can sell the LT1 car for more $$. Plus its a manual which would be more fun to drive every day. What do you guys think? His car has 110K on it

UAW and bad management are what killed GM. It is pretty bad when you aren't allowed to fire people, even if they are the shittiest employees. My aunt used to be a high up in the supply chain management for Anheusur Busch (spelling it wrong I know), and she said it was nearly impossible to fire one guy who would never show up to work on time, always slacked off, was always on his phone, would always take smoke breaks, worked slowly and was literally in the bathroom once an hour. Normal guy with no known health problems.
If it runs strong, I'd do it. But LT1s are more of a PITA to maintain

I'm no stranger to the OPTI crap.... I've had a 94 and a 97 Z28 in the past... My thing is which one will sell for more when I eventually get tired of my Z06 and want get a C6. My 98 is very clean. I am gonna drive his car and see if I like it. He has supposedly gone 12.2@ 112 in it.
