Since this is a bulls#it thread, dropped my Fox this week at a friends shop and he's building me a custom 3.5" exhaust on it.
Waiting on the main tubing to come in today, but he went ahead and mocked up my mufflers and turn downs.

The exhaust I had on it was 3" and had a lot of crimped bends, so I'm hoping that the larger diameter and mandrel bent bends will help free up a little hp and mph.

A single 3.5" exhaust system is good for ~500hp flywheel with no restriction, assuming no cat and a good muffler(flows same or more as pipe). A Single 3" is about 370...so if you're over 370 flywheel then it should help .

Damn, you got me as far as actual track numbers go.

But you must remember that I had a bolt-on LT1 with nitrous. Only ran the car NA and was good for 8.2 in 2700DA

Still curious to see what it would have done with the other mods I added and the 100 or 125 pill before I sold it

Mach 7.6 was with ported heads cams etc.. The car was making no power and fell on its face and still ran that time. When it had boltons it went 7.9 1/8th but the car broke around the 300ft mark so it was actually faster but the junkyard 4.6 didn't make it

What was the DA during those runs?

7.9 in the 1/8th isn't bad at all for boltons. I was pretty happy with the old LT1. I beat the living **** out of it, maintained it well, and she took it in stride. The newest owner after the kid who bought it from me traded it in managed to finally pop the head gasket but one of my acquaintances bought it from him and is planning to redo the motor and get fresh paint and everything on it.

Damn, and even you got me in the 1/8th. Stupid elevation. At least other NA cars around me are affected also, so it still seems like I am quick. LOL

Decent times for sure. But i wouldnt throw so much hate at the GTO community. After all i did go 7.3 on stock wheels/tires/gear/intake. Cwartas car should run into the high 6s when done
