My stock opti (previous owner put on MSD cap and rotor we found out) was working just fine, but we ended up putting in a brand new one when we put on the longtubes just in case. With that being said though, the old one had no problems and I'll give it to the new owner to help his potential opti woes

That is a true statement. Lots of Mustangs do sound great with exhaust on them.
On the bright side, odarabla, with the car gone, I'll now be able to invest even more and help fund a much nicer ride with cash here in a few years since my scholarships/parents (ordered in who pays most) are paying for my college. And yes, not have to deal with an old LT1 anymore
