They are not the only ones cutting jobs and getting strict on their recruits. After talking to the Marine Corps recruiter to get into the 3rd Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment. I was told no because of a Tattoo I have going down my left arm.. No matter how much time I had in or what my MOS was they wouldn't take me because of a Tattoo.. I was like wow WTF. Funny thing was a Army recruiter over heard our conversation and tried to get me to join the Army in an MI unit.. The problem is there would be 9 months of AIT to attend and I won't get a pay check from my regular job while attending AIT and the Military pay isn't near enough..

The Army used to offer huge bonus also. They are all gone less you have one of 3 MOS. DOD/SF/Linguist.
I have almost 13yrs in so I would be stupid to get out now. 7 more and I can retire. As mentioned I know the right people to help get me them great paying DOD contractor jobs.

What funny is the Army is looking at changing their tattoo policy again. Going back to old rules.

Me I would prefer to look at the hot girls. That was only t hing I liked about living in a apartment before I bought a house. Now I am stuck just looking at a bunch of house wife's walking to the mail box...
