I'm sure the V was at least 45-50k and not to mention the cost of importing a vehicle to a different country. I'd say his figure is legitimate.

5th gen in 2009 cost me $44k with full extras and all. Importing it overseas cost me about 10k and it has about 27k in parts w/o labor.

V cost me 55k used 2011 diamond edition full extras. Imported was about 13k and i put about 13k in mods in it.

So If you add up I could of easily bought a ZR1 or a Z06 or any number of other cars, but in the end I like being different down here. I was one of the first 5th gens down here and I'm the only V in the country. There are quite a bit of Z06s and ZR1s though.

Man my head is all crazy now. Don't know if I should whipple or turbo the V or turbo the 5th gen.. The **** do I do damnit.

Even though turbos make more power, it's hard to beat the reliability of the Whipple.

Well with the nova coming in a few months I will lose all interest in both these cars and don't want to invest a huge amount more since I will probably have to lose my *** on both.

Exactly what I was thinking. Throw a 2.9 whip on the V and turn the boost up. Hopefully the trans won't gay out on me. I know a few guys been running the 8-900whp on the Vs on stock A6. I think 5th gear is all that really goes out on them and I have no plans to abuse it like those track monkys do!

LOL I held the snakes they had there at the shoot. From a good friend of mine. Biggest one he had was a 14 ft, 150lbs Boa... **** was just downright ridiculous. Holding it on your shoulders was too much, at least for me.
