I did the same thing the weekend before here in Dallas! The crazy thing is you can't describe the feeling on 2 nitromethane cars blowing past you at 300 mph! I was in the Schumacher tent, neat deal. While I was in there I asked Johnny Gray how much a cylinder head cost for his funny car, he told me he had no idea, but since he supports his sons Pro Stock car, he told me parts alone, a Pro Stock motor runs $85k. That's W/O LABOR!!!

Well I'm going to the local 1/4 mile track tomorrow night. Anyone want to venture a guess to what I will run?
2003 Cobra 2.8 Kenne Bell with supporting fuel mods, magnaflow x-pipe & cat back, 4.10's on a 28" e.t. street. Track elevation is 4400'. We are supposed to have cool weather so I am hoping that the DA is around 4500 or even lower if I get lucky. Any guesses?

Look at their Fif Gen the homers can defend it all they want but it was a total flop performance wise, But it sold a bunch so they don't care what performance it has......Or lacks...

They used to care with the corvette, it was a top-performer. But now the new mustang may outperform it. Which would be hilarious.

These aere first test. Let people get some seat time. No reason it can't break into the 11's. I know a few stock C6's have.
As far as the new mustang out performing it I don't think so. We will see more constint lower times in the C7 then the mustang. Yes a GT500 will run away from a base c7 at the drag strip. With 200hp more it better. But the C7 is a handling monster.
