As people have said before - pretty sure your #s are inflated or the car isnt "stock". Not hating, just saying

He has a dyno tune on a Dynojet (93 oct id assume)

When I test drove one, I was surprised how quick the 6L80e is. I've heard it is a night and day difference between a tuned 6L80e on a stock car also, but haven't had a G8 GT to test. Maybe I'll have to change that

Ron, definitely get headers and some rockers. Would be a fun and great sounding DD for sure

^I was there. The tune definitely helped that thing out, even though it's still on 87.

This G8 hung with an Ion Redline that traps like 107 (+1 person in the car), so I think the numbers are pretty close. Might be a tad high, but not off by much. Not all Mustang dynos read the same...

The thing about Mustang Dynos is that the numbers can be easily skewed.

Not mad, just saying the #'s don't seem right for what I have seen. I could care less about dyno numbers. What is the Washer mod?

Dyno tune.

I don't doubt your numbers, I just think the dyno was calibrated to get it to read like a Dynojet.

87 octane tune with essentially no mods? Making more power on a mustang dyno? I don't doubt you were there and that he beat a freakin ion lol. I just don't think the #s are an accurate reading.

Do you know how dynos work? Go to another dyno and post the new #s up - Then come back on here and apologize.

Yea i know how dynos work and numbers that read on them.
I've now tuned a few car on the same dyno and numbers seem about right.

And for reference on the same dyno i tuned a 04 gto 6 speed.
Bolt on's Full exhaust 228R and P&P milled 243 (ls6/ls2) heads i believe he said it was 11.5 or 12.5 CR, was only able to get 23* of timing into the car due to the CR.
Made 415 after i was done.

I don't doubt its right for THAT dyno - whoever calibrated it, seems to have made it read rather high. That's all i have to say

If you're making a legitimate 337 on a mustang you're making about 370 on a DJ. So your tuner is claiming (and seemingly talking ****) about 35 more whp than an intake/tune/cat back car with just a tune...that makes sense.

Did you dyno your car on the same dyno?

Mine? Nope my car is between setups right now but will hit the rollers in a few weeks once i get the procharger on.

I don't remember mustang dyno causing cars to lose 30+ HP on a car only making low 300's to 350's.

Is is a Brand new mustang dyno and was calibrated by specs of the company.

No need for everyone to get so salty.
