You must be a Teapublican. You want to see my birth certificate and some time slips? Oh wait, I don't have a roll cage, therefore I can't run down the track, therefore I can't get a timeslip, pretty simple. On the one and only run I was able to make, it ran a 10.27 @132ish, then I was told to leave.
That was at Cecil. I saw it!!!

To the OP, nice kill regardless. It could have been a 2011 as well, IMO.
To ohioborn80, not ALL supercharged 2011 5.0s run 10s. I witnessed a full weight, 550+ rwhp 2011 5.0 at the track in the stick car shootout run consistant 11.3s all day long. He ran 11.3-11.4s in qualifying and finally manged an 11.2 when the sun went down and the DA got better. That was full weight on greg welds front and rear with DRs out back. He was disappointed. However, a 2011 5.0 won the shootout. But, he was fully suspended with weight reduction, boss intake, and a 150 shot running 10.9s with a best of 10.88 until we ran a 10.95 and qualified 2nd in a full weight, N/A, stock cubed LT1!
He then proceeded to increase the jet to 200 and qualified the next round at 10.5x. The supercharged 5.0 placed 5th and lost to an '03 cobra with a kenne bell and a 2011 Shelby GT500. We placed 2nd with a N/A, full weight, stock c.i. LT1 and have the vids, plaque and prize money to prove it if you need further evidence. Sooooooooooo, the OP can beat a supercharged 2011 5.0 if a full weight, stock c.i. LT1 can, right?

Dude another 5.0 arguement? Before u know it everyone from svt performance or another mustang forum will jump in here to talk ****. Op if u can't tell the difference from a 2000 ish era mustang and a new 5.0 then u shouldn't claim a kill on a sc 5.0. Those cars are tough and u don't have what it takes even though your car is very fast. Not taking sides at all but putting their gripes in the light for you to see. I know ls stuff more than anything but I dont expect a 40 year old who rarely street races and never cared for mustangs to know the difference either. New 5.0 ls1 fbody they're both badass cars im not brand loyal so just let this thread die. Sorry for the longwinded garbled paragragh but im at work on my droid2.

Right, because it's so easy to dial a car in on one single pass on a totally new setup. Plus the car was setup as a street car, so it's a soft suspension, and it was running street tires. I might have had the A/C on too, but I don't remember.

2) I don't know what year the car was but here is a picture of the same body style I saw beside me at the tolls and behind me when we left it !!
The car I ran had 5.0 badge on the side and look just like this. Now I hope you know what year this one is by looking at it. I really don't care myself,but if it is a 2011 ,oh well...he lost.
3 ) I'm sorry you cannot except the fact that a supercharged mustang cannot loose a street race to a h/c LS1 car . But it happened . Remember most toll booth have concrete roads where you pay your tolls. My car can cut low 1.5 6ft at the track all day on ET Street Dr's. On street tires I can manage a high 1.7 with a 4000 stall and 373 gear out back and still run a low 11.7 or a high 11.6 on street tires spinning thru 1st going side ways. So on the street ,on concrete, at a stand still against a 5/6spd car -advantage LS1.
Now please...just let it go and move on !!

First of all, Ohio shouldn't be calling anyone a retard. He types like he's from the mountains of Appalachia. Second, the reason everyone (some Chevy guys included) is skeptical is because the power difference is probably equivalent to a C5 Z06 and a C6 Z06, and that's if the Stang is on a low boost setting. But like you said it's the street and anything can happen.

I agreed anything can happen on street. As I said that before. As mentioned is the biggest issue was you saying 2000+ 5.0. Made it harder to believe. And yes very unbelievable but again anything can happen on the street.
Maybe its just me that looks around and knows what other cars are capable of running and look like. Knowing the competition. But I don't think so.

LOL. He ran the same time and mph 25 times and you think he needs a driver mod? His 60' was 1.7 all day and his mph 118-120. It wasn't the driver, but it's okay if you won't believe that the new 5.0 with a blower won't run 10s without further mods, but I know for a fact that they won't.
