Cammed LS2 GTO vs. 11 5.0

To Ohio I only have 1/8 mile times boltons and tire only. It was a 8.37 @ 84.xx mph 60' 1.9 with da ~ 2000 not sure exactly but it was in that range. I have yet to go to the track since the spray and cam. It's been closed for a while those AL twisters messed it up. I heard it will be opening up next month though.

Sounds about right for the mods..My car was 422rwhp with cam, longtubes, lpe cai, udp, and stock cat back..I picked up 31rwhp with a unported fast 92,vararam cai,and corsa sport cat back.

We ran before he touched the car and it was dead even, after the tune and me on motor he pulled 2.5-3 cars and walking.

Yep, and they would be right. My brother made 414rwhp/400rwtq tune, cold air intake, and axleback with a stock midpipe. Thats a good run for a cammed fbody all day long.

lol, and the only reason i do is because i have seen it first hand....not '"heard" about it like 99% of the other people who claim **** lol. i drove the car stock, and just with the three small mods he did and the car is totally different, pretty badass power for a tune, intake, and mufflers.

The cold air is a huge debate. Some claim great things and other have seen jack out of it for track times. Hard to tell since all but 1 cold air have to have a tune with it.
The mufflers are worth no HP. Proven a billion times on the dyno and track. Only thing you gain is about 20lbs weight loss.

In all seriousness though, the newer cars seem to be gaining more with basic mods, which goes against what people thought would happen as the technology gets better and cars make more and more horsepower right off the showroom floor. For all the bad going on right now, it's a great time to be a horsepower enthusiast!

Point being all dynos read different and all cars respond to things differently. I have dynoed on one dyno and made 665 rwhp and the next dyno a week later it made 630 rwhp. Same time of year and both dynojets. Dynos are tuning tools not I made ______ so I run ______ tools.

Wait now hold up son. A 3800lb Gto with 420rwhp beat a 3600lb 5.0 with supposedly 400+rwhp stock? Something is not right here. Either the new 5.0 is not what its cracked up to be or the driver is a **** kicker, especially after seeing the *** raping on that video.
