Well, tried to start the car for the first time in 2 years. Had one AN fuel fitting leaking that I need to replace and my radiator has a hole in it. I will give it another shot Monday when I can get a replacement fitting and a radiator. So close......

Thanks for heads up.
Yea I have a used c6z cradle an it's aluminum. I'm pretty sure all c6 use the same rear cradle but the zr1 engine cradle is mag. The z06 front cradle may be mag aswel.
Where did you get your offset mounts? I have a set of the new rtk56ounts, very nice pieces, pretty sure they are the only ones thy make offset mounts now

Installed Dakota VHX gauges so I finally have a working speedometer, oil press, and temp gauges.

That looks like a fun little project.

I just installed an LED interior light kit on the Caddy. That made a huge difference for the interior IMO. Also got four brand new factory wheels put on, covered under warranty. Looking for a set of factory rears from the CTS-V Coupe to put a set of drag radials on.

Why did you need 4 factory wheels?

Nice,..i'll let dude know that I am buying them from. I didn't buy the offset bushing because I have a C6Z torque tube.... I thought if you didn't have the tube, you needed to buy the offset bushings...isn't that the case?

I still need to buy diff mounts as well.

im pretty sure if you use the c6 TT you also need the shifter linkage since its slightly longer. im unsure about everything else. im using my c5 TT as it was the easier option and just purchased the offset mounts. you will also need c6 LCA's unless you are running coilovers?

Started the old girl for the first time in two years. Still have some work to do hiding the wiring and I have to make another inlet tube but it runs great.

Cool beans.

I have the entire TT and shifter linkage that came with the kit when I bought it...and I have coil overs on the car already for years(love em).

Dude that has cradles says the Z06's in 2008 have the magnesium in the rear assembly.... swears by it lol. "4lbs lighter"

Just buying the other one. Trying to figure out which diff mounts to buy right now. Still gotta buy a diff but I cannot find a ZR1 complete diff part number. ALl local dealerships I called, are trying to tell me that only pieces are available...which isn't the case. I found them a part # for a Z06 08 diff number, which they then found, and had a price for but.....no ZR1 I have found(part number wise). But, then again, I haven't scanned the net hardcore either lol.

...which, I will do right meow...now.

Damn thats a good price man. WTF... friends of mine @ dealership, can't get this price.....I pay cost +5% on big ticket items(they pay cost +10%). Thats an awesome deal. I may just go with this one. Whats the part number you have for this? I know anything 08/09 and up is capable of handing big power.

the partstaxi site isn't working right now but i have this left over from my order... hopefully it helps. i also purchased a brand new ZR1 trans, just cant beat the prices.... you cant build a t56 for that price let alone one being anywhere near as strong...
i got my cradle and z06 mono spring for $300 shipped. i don't have much into the swap really...and everything is brand new aside from the cradle and rear mono spring. im staying away from coilovers as they are not needed for straight line performance. i can sell my stock trans/diff/cradle/lca's/diff brace etc etc and make back at least $1500-2000

also the trans and diff are from a 2012 zr1 and 2012 z06. you will also need to figure out what your going to do for a trans cooler and diff cooler. im going to swap the rear housing cover on the c6z diff so it doesn't have the fittings for the cooler lines as its really not needed. ill also just be running a loop between the fittings on the trans since i don't need the trans cooler either.

24255566 universals & rear axle, rear axle, carrier Corvette; Manual Trans; 7.0L; 3.42 Ratio; 2nd Design 1 $0.00 $2,239.00 $2,239.00

24253041 manual transmission, transmission Corvette; w/o 4th Gear Skip Shift.; 6.2L; Tremec; w/Supercharger 1 $0.00 $3,473.68 $3,473.68

Nice. I got my trans for a great deal so I can't complain there either. I am planning on running coolers, without a doubt. I have a couple of finned heat exchangers but we found a place that makes sells them for not so bad a price. Figured I would use one for diff, and trans. I wanna start using the car a lot more, and put some miles on it, as well as maybe run some track events. So the coolers I am all for. Kinda just winging everything pretty much lol, as you can see.

I figure this drivetrain is like a dream to me,...I figure anything I can do to prolong it, and make it that much more durable, it would be worth it down the road. I am pretty abusive, so everything helps.

Thanks again for your time bro.
