and you wanna hate on my car saying i "SHOULD have been running 10's already" ..for your info yeah you may be right on that..because all my mid and low 11 second passes where done with MAJOR fuel problem's...and also done with a supercharger that was seeing MAJOR belt slip issues...but maybe you need to get yourself into the 11's first before you even start trying to tell a guy what he needs to be doing to run 10's...and BTW..any real drag racer will tell you..what might work to make your car 12 or 11's..might not work to make your car run 10's or 9's and if you knew that then you would maybe be on MY LEVEL
i will be doing a stronger rear..with a 3.73 gears into it..and also change my 3k stall to a 4K..and if you are nieve enough to think that will not make my car drop ET'...then maybe you need to stay with the 12 second cars where you belong!
and you have NO idea how dumb you look trying to convince a guy that he can run well into the 10's with no issues with a STOCK 10 bolt with STOCK 3.23 gears..when you yourself have never been that fast in your own car before...

dude...i had a bolt-on stalled auto car going 12.0s ******* 4 years ago lol. don't tell me i couldn't go better than 11.8 with a procharger. you don't race, it's obivous. it's ok, admit it, no one cares...stop trying to find an excuse to have such a shitty et to show for the mods.
when i sold my auto car, we took my cam (never installed it) and exhaust, put it in my friend's 00 b4c and watched it go 11.7 @ 116 like clockwork (@ 2000'+ mind you). put a 150 shot on it and it went 10.7s @ 128-129. on the stock ls6 intake, tb, pulley, trans, and rear, no weight reduction. stock snowflakes on 255 mt et street DRs.
is the 10 bolt the best rear to go fast on? no. but it is certainly not the POS you're making it out to be. also, another friend of mine went 1.65 in a bolt-on/150 shot m6 car. stock rear, trans, ls1 intake, tb, etc etc etc. that car had ******* 150k miles on it. at least 100 track passes.
the longer your car is pulling in boost the faster it will go. the more shifting and psi drops you see the slower you'll go. go ahead, put some 456s in there with a 4k stall, that'll def work out to your advantage lol.

but as far as the LS1 vs the new 5.0 argument goes..i say..put only a 300 dollar cam in an LS1 F body as well as some longtube headers and exhaust with a dyno tune and for less than 1500 dollars you can make over 400 RWHP wich is a good bit more than stock 5.0 makes (they make about 370 RWHP) even considering it's extra 9 years of advanced technology..the LS1 can hold it's own due to the fact most of the ones a new 5.0 will run into on the street will probally have atleast some small mods a bolt on LS1 will more than hang with a brand new 5.0...but put the bolt ons on the 5.0..and well..shoes on the other foot i guess
