The 99/01 Cobras are IRS which makes a dig race more difficult with the wheel hop vs the 96-98 solid rear axles.
The 99/01 Cobras due shine a bit up top with 4v heads...if they don't run out of gear that is with many people running 3:73 or 4:10's
