The v6 camaro ? And then the cobra they had to add FI because hey knew gm made the greatest NA motor..the LS1 !!! Ha ha

 

All of that means ZERO to me. It is ugly as sin so even if I was given one, I'd sell it immediately and get a C6.

 

#1-Not the greatest.
#2-It is very easy to see, GT is meant to be the big volume seller, CObra meant to beat the **** out of the F-bodies.
#3-The blower excuse is old and tired, let it die. It makes you look like a ricer and/or an idiot. Ford wanted lots of power and torque, so they did the smart thing and added boost. BOOST. Their plan obviously worked by the droves of people complaining about the blower. If you don't like it, go buy a stock F-body and throw a Maggie on it and try to find a stock Slowbra to run. Report back.

Gm didnt have to use displacement to beat the GT500 with the ZR1... car 7 driver compared a 2010 Grand Sport Corvette vs 2010 Shelby GT500. the GS beat it in every which way you could dream of... Matter of a 442Hp car kicking the crap out of a 500hp car. I only know about this because my pops just picked up a new GS looks like my inheritance just got sweeter lol jk

Yeah, they are pretty close.
The weight of the cobra r really hinders it though.
The two have gone around willow springs in '01, and the C5Z was 2 seconds quicker.

Here are the figures from when the two were tested around willow springs by car and driver, on the same day, with the same driver:
-Braking 70-0:...........Z06=152ft......................Cobra R=169ft
-1/4 mile:.................Z06=13.0@112................ Cobra R=13.0@111 (pretty shitty times)
-Roadholding:............Z06=.93G's................ .....Cobra R=.99G's
