Ju1ce Comes Clean on Mods...

Still don't care either way but.....
If Ju1ce's car is "stock" again, why not have him go out and make a few passes? He should be able to run a pretty good time since he should be an even better driver than before...though the DA is poopy at most tracks now.

So since 2007 when he bought the car stock and on stock shitty tires ran a 13.08@108, that's pretty damn good. Now 4 years of driving at various stages of mods and some DRs he keeps running mid 12's, so what have you proven? That seat time has helped, or that he can take off the headers and still run the same time ? Hasnt told everyone, everything he did at the moment he did it? Tried something new to see if it worked or didnt?Havent you you ever seen someone put headers on and run slower times cuz they spin? Now he can get traction stock he can launch harder or drive better or what ever he is....WINNING!

I think something got lost in translation because I think he has owned up to everything in that post now that I think about. If I recall he ran 12.5 on only dr's everything else was stock except no spare or skid plate. He also posted a 13.0 slip at 108 when he said that along with several others.
He will clarify though.

i sent ju1ce a pm asking him for advice on shifting... If the guy is as good as he says he is, why wouldnt he help the little guys out and give them some pointers??? Just saying. Im starting to join the skeptical side, when at first I supported him

I'd like to see all these SVT clowns meet up with Ju1ce at a shop , inspect and dyno , STOCK and then race him, then get cars at every level of bolt ons, hell even a couple '11s and see at what point and HP level they start to win! If he beats the stock ones... that's that, if he beats the bolt on cars starting at exhaust/tune only... oh boy, then gears too... uh oh, then pullied...should be winning by now, then ported blowers...by then he would have to be outta NOS right? That shouldnt be hard since there's so many Cobras floating around, well maybe finding stock one's might be since its hard not to mod when you keep getting crushed, it could get embarrassing ! Not that I'd know but I can imagine. Seems silly but maybe then everyone can stop crying and let Ju1ce keep...... WINNING!

Litte input here....
I recently went from a 2006 SS/SC GM Stage 2 cobalt SS with 245hp to a 2005 M6 GTO w/SAP package. Only mods are CAI and Stainless works Headers.
The GTO is WAYYYY faster than the cobalt. About the only thing the Cobalt is faster in is turning at rediculous speeds/cornering. In a straight line it is night and day difference.
I can also tell you the GTO, even with a short shifter, is about 10x harder to shift properly than the cobalt. The shift throws require a lot more force and precision.
Personally I am a Ju1ce fan and do not know the guy at all. I'd also be interested in his shift techniques, including launching, which RPMs, how much gas, if he blips throttle between shifts, etc.
I could easily see how many folks with M6's in these powerful cars do not drive them as well as someone with a lot of experience. I thought I was badass at shifting with my Cobalt and then I drove the GTO, it's like starting all over again. Driving my SS feels like i'm shifting with a toothpick compared to the GTO.
