I had a 2 door R/T with an SRT-4 swap and a GT3076R on low boost. Never met anyone that could beat it from a roll. Including Vipers and Vettes

It happens to the best of us....Good thing is to take it like a champ. We spent all night a couple years ago picking on kids in my buddy's 93 Mustang GT Convert. Stroked 347/SC. Looked BONE STOCK even with the baby seat in the back. After about 10 wins a OLD SCHOOL 280Z came up...Barely running....After a couple mins of **** talk a race was agreed upon. Best of 3.....First run from 0 280 won by 5, 2nd run he won by 10 or more and we just turned left and went home LOL

Had kinda a complete opposite run in about a year or so ago with all these guys talking trash about this honda that would smoke me. Completely gutted little civic with a suposed built turboed motor and it ran 11's.... and on and on. So I say screw it and go race out of town with litterally like 80 people on each side of the road. We went like 25-130 and I ended up pulling him about 2 cars. I also raced a mach 1 the same night with all the cars on the side of the road. It was like a drag spot. The cool thing is the road is not available to the local cops around there and only the sherrifs could go on it, but as soon as we got off the road on to the main road they had a road block set and we all got trapped in. Luckily they had no evidence anybody raced so we all got off free, but it was a scary moment

It was spelled that way on a title of a v6 camaro that I bought and sold not to long ago. I don't see how someone would think it could be spelled that way. It doesn't even sound close to right

When it decides to run half decent it is probably a high 12 sec car with slicks on the front, but it runs decent about once a year. It is a fully forged turbo motor and would be fast as **** if he could somehow get it tuned. The tune is so fast it doesn't run even close to right and he has a kid on the way so he can't do anything about it. The guy who built the motor said he could push 30 lbs of boost no problem. He also has a 94 z28 with bolt-ons and he also has low 11 sec bike.

Built GSR 2.0L
19lbs of boost on a 67mm T4 turbo

His car-
1999 WS-6

Fast 90 something mm Intake

Got him by a fender or so. It wasnt like i ran off and left him or anything

I'd love to get an S2000 and bolt a turbo kit to it, that would be one weapon, there quicker enough with out a turbo and best part there rwd.
A turbo'd NSX would be good too on the v6 motor.
I'm not game to race my 5.7 LS1 against one or an S2000, well in stock form anyway.
Sorry if i hijacked the thread a little there.

Im not going to argue with you there. One thing you have to look at is the name you typed lol. It is still a DODGE NEON. Every time I see him dump money in it I just shake my head. I tell him over and over if he would have put the 8k that he spent on the damn motor of that neon he could have put that in his camaro and had a reliable low 11 sec car. **** for that he could have bought a low mileage ls1 somewhere and put heads cam on it. The camaro already has the front end conversion.

All in how you spend it. My buddy was turning mid 10's @ 140mph in his stock block Neon. Finally after 15k miles and multiple 10sec passes, one of the ring lands gave out. He has a built motor waiting to drop in, just wanted to see how far the stock block could take him.

where there is a will there is a way when it comes to cars. Well WILL and MONEY.
There are a few "great" engines out there.
LS family of motors
2JZ
RB26(original skyline engine)
N54(there is another number as well but the new TT BMW engine in the 335/135 etc)
And while I am sure there are more... THese engines are in affordable cars and made for performance. IN the case of the BMW and Nissan engines, capable of SO much more than they are given, just a tune away from a SIZABLE gain in HP.
