Vette is mine...
on the 40 roll i was in first and spun a bit(8k hard miles on runflats).
The 45roll i was in second and was a more acurate outcome.
as far as my driving abilities....rarely do I get outdriven, but cory seems to have my number...

as you can see my car runs as well. I had a hundred pounds more in passenger weight as well. only lost by 1 car on each roll race.
So corys car is running extra hard.

MY DAD just bought as 2011 GrandSport with manual gear box and optional Cu-out exhaust. for a car thats a comprimise between base vette and a Z)6 i like it alot. Plus how many Mustangs( no offense) can say there motor was hand built solely by one guy? but good runs guys

You're trippin'. That rustang would get walked! A close friend of mines full bolt-on '09 C6 just went 11.0x@124-125. That was with a stock intake manifold as well. I believe the LS3 bolt-on record is 10.80@126.

You're trippin'. That rustang would get walked! A close friend of mines full bolt-on '09 C6 just went 11.0x@124-125. That was with a stock intake manifold as well. I believe the LS3 bolt-on record is 10.80@126.

Your car sounds amazing and is sexy.
I agree. I am looking at C6Z's but I prefer the targa top on a GS and the fenders on them. I think too many people own red Corvettes in Iowa though

To the LS3 corvette guy get some better tires so it could be an even run.
For the record bolt ons LS3 vetts with a tune and decent tires are running mid 11 sec quarter mile. Camed ones are in the 10's this is average.

Bolt on 5.0 have seen both but mid 11s is more average.

Based on this info if your vette is not running this there is something wrong with your car. On average.

You guys are crazy. The new 5.0 is great, but a full bolt on 5.0 is not going to be more powerful than a full bolt on LS3. Everything else being equal (quality and selection of parts, tranny type, etc etc). Add in the C6 weight advantage and given identical drivers and the C6 walks away all day long. Only chance the 5.0 wins is if the vette is missing mods or has a terrible driver.

according to corvette forum a cammed LS3 with bolt ons, tune etc are running into the 10's sec quarter mile. A bolt on is mid to high 11's. Assuming decent tires etc etc.
Based on this info if your vette is not running this there is something wrong with your car. On average.

Yes I am sure some one can dig up each that has went low 11s or better. But I am talking average.
I k ow record for full bolt on 5.0 is a 10.8. I am sure a LS3 vette has went faster then mid 11s.

Also consider the aerodynamics of the car. The corvette cuts the wind like butter cause of aerodynamics. I dont know what a 5.0 runs but the vette would prob get a better mph to.

Bolt on 5.0's in great air -DA have went high 10s-low 11s average 122-124.
In 3200 DA like I had went 11.8 at 118.
In 0-1000 DA they are 11.1-11.5 range.

Damn I'm guessing those new 5.0 run strong everywhere else. Cause down here even bolt on 5.0 I been seeing them lose to heads and cam f bodies. "On a average " than again anything happens on the street.

OK drag racing no problem put 4:10 on a vette with bolt ons LS3 low 11 sec. I dont know what you are trying to consider or assume. The vette would be the faster car. The 5.0 has come a long way but no comparrison. If you would put all the mods from your 5.0 on an LS3 the 5.0 would lose. All things being equal. The vette has advantage of weight and aerodynamics.
